Crystal Mountain Ski Vacations



Taking a ski vacation with your family? Should you be living in or near Washington State then it will be best if you can check out the Crystal Mountain. It comes with a height of 7004 feet with a vertical drop of 3102 feet, Crystal Mountain is in fact sits just below Mount Rainier that has a height of 14,408 feet. From November to April, you will witness several feet of fresh powder falls on Crystal Mountain because of the cold cascade storms during that period.

Crystal Mountain area is a rough terrain and for those beginners, it trails will not be as easy as offer. Luckily you can catch up with lessons that come with rentals for ski's and other equipment. With more than 2300 acres and fifty trails at Crystal Mountain, it is the largest ski area in the state of Washington. It comes with 10 lifts - 2 high speed 6 passenger lifts, 2 triple chairs, 2 high speed quads, 1 children's surface lift and 3 double chairs.

The season starts from mid November until mid April where the most snow fall can be experienced. Not to worry about lodging, meals and night entertainment as there are several places you can choose to stay and enjoy. Of course the biggest attraction for you and your family will be skiing.

From the mid of December till mid of March, you will be able to take a ride from the Crystal Mountain Express Bus service. It starts from your lodge area and then drop you off at the base plaza where you can start your full day of fun on the slopes. Once you have enough of skiing for the day, a place that you should definitely head to will be the East Peak Massage & Fitness to take full advantage of the hot tub, showers, sauna and even enjoy in the game room. You will need to make a reservation if you require a good massage.

With your kids along, they might not want to follow you for the black diamond trails, instead you can register your kids with the Kid's Club.The opening hours for the Kid's Club is from 8 am till 4 pm everyday for children from 4 to 11 years old. Your kids will be under supervision while they ski on the kid appropriate slope as well as the snowboarding. This is definitely an enjoyable place for your kids to have fun while under supervision and taught of skiing and snowboarding. A small sum to pay for the care including 4 hours leson, a lift ticket, lunch and supervision. Additional fee for rental equipment available for kids.

It is a definite place for everyone to have fun at Crystal Mountain. So, bring your family to Crystal Mountain for a ski vacation though the slopes are meant for intermediate and expert skiers. A thumb rule to follow - use your six sense if you feel that you are not ready for the trails.
